Eidos explains accessing Conan early      
Speaking to Eurogamer, the publisher said those pre-ordering the game will be able to download a client and pay a small fee to play for three days before launch. After that you will need your full product key that is included in the retail, boxed copy of Age of Conan.
 
Age of Conan PC in October      
The game was previously pencilled in for March, and this new official date gives developer Funcom more time to spruce-up its DirectX 10-powered loincloths.
 
Conan shipments hit 1 million      
"Sales data shows that Age of Conan is the biggest MMO launch since World of Warcraft," said Funcom marketeer Morton Larssen. "The numbers are very promising, and we are very proud to be one of the fastest selling PC games ever in a launch month and the biggest simultaneous Europe/US MMO launch in history."
 
Conan to offer 250 hours of levelling      
Speaking at last week's launch event game director Gaute Godager said, "We have budgeted - because that's what you do, you budget people's time when you make these types of games - a levelling curve which is on average 250 hours of gameplay."
 
Eye on '07: MMOGs      
Developed by the team who created the fascinating but terribly flawed Anarchy Online, Age of Conan is a game set in the universe of Arnold Schwarzenegger's classic Conan The Barbarian - so as you might expect, it features rather a lot of burly men, broadswords, axes and bloodshed.
 
Breast outcry "very surprising" to Funcom      
Funcom has told Eurogamer that it was very surprised by the strength of the reaction to the accidental shrinking of breasts on female models in Age of Conan.
 
Coming Attractions: RPGs      
And now to the first of 2008's most promising MMORPGs. The PC version of Age of Conan just been delayed so Funcom can add polish. It's now out on 20th May, by which time you should be able to see your face in it, with the Xbox 360 game "to follow".
