Eidos explains accessing Conan early       Speaking to Eurogamer, the publisher said those pre-ordering the game will be able to download a client and pay a small fee to play for three days before launch. After that you will need your full product key that is included in the retail, boxed copy of Age of Conan.

Age of Conan PC in October       The game was previously pencilled in for March, and this new official date gives developer Funcom more time to spruce-up its DirectX 10-powered loincloths.

Conan shipments hit 1 million       "Sales data shows that Age of Conan is the biggest MMO launch since World of Warcraft," said Funcom marketeer Morton Larssen. "The numbers are very promising, and we are very proud to be one of the fastest selling PC games ever in a launch month and the biggest simultaneous Europe/US MMO launch in history."

Conan to offer 250 hours of levelling       Speaking at last week's launch event game director Gaute Godager said, "We have budgeted - because that's what you do, you budget people's time when you make these types of games - a levelling curve which is on average 250 hours of gameplay."
